Three new brand Dialysis Machines were donated to the Hospital, facilitated by Dr Aisha Nalado a Consultant Nephrologist. The two of the machines were donated by IHSAN Foundation and one by Professor Umar Garba Danbatta, Executive Vice Chairman of Nigeria Communication Commission N.C.C.

Professor Umar Garba made a personal donation of the dialysis machine to assist patients, as well as Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital towards providing efficient dialysis services.
Speaking, Dr Nalado said the machines are a new brand and modernized with high capacity work for 24hours, she explained that each machine can work on 20 patients per day.
Dr Aisha expressed gratitude for the gesture and pray Almighty God to reward them abundantly.
Five hundred and Nine (509) patients benefited from the drugs donated by Aisha Buhari Future Assured Foundation during this COVID – 19 pandemic from April, 1st to 31st May 2020.
Speaking with the Deputy Director in-charge of Inpatients Pharmacy, Pharm Furaira Ado Muhammad, disclosed that the drugs were distributed based on the prescription of the hospital doctors.
Drugs donated by Future Assured Foundation Amidst Covid-19 Pandemic
She said that after the donation the drugs were forwarded to GOPD and Inpatient Pharmacy Units where they were dispensed free to any patient that comes with a prescription from the hospital doctors.
Pharm Furaira added that the most dispensed drugs at GOPD pharmacy are Paracetamol Anti-malaria and antibiotics, while at the Inpatients Pharmacy is the normal saline. It could be recalled that the Aisha Buhari Future Assured Foundation has been one of the organizations that donated items worth millions of naira to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital to cushion the effect of COVID 19 pandemic in the hospital.
