The Management organised a send forth for members of Staff of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospitals who retired from active service of the hospital early this year.

The retired Staff are Mrs Esther N. Madu, former Assistant Director of Administration, Mrs K B Marama , former Assistant Director  of Nursing Services Department, Mrs Talatu Y. Dogara, former Chief Nursing officer/incharge of Blood Donor Clinic and Mrs Hauwa Akinnibosun, former Chief Confidential Secretary/incharge of internert café. Others are Sani Ado Satatima, former Chief Clerical officer, Accounts Department, Muhammad Bello, former Higher Health Records Assistant, Abdulrazak Isyaku, former Works Suprintendant (plumbing) Aliyu Mukhtar, former Head, Hospital Attendant(A/T) Nafi’u Yau, Head Hospitals Attendant (Theatre Suites) and Zahra’u Ado, Head Hospitals Attendant(EPU ward).

The Chief Medical Director, Professor Aminu Zakari Muhammed at the befitting and colourful reception congratulated the retiring Staff for successful retirement.

He commended each of them for hard work and dedication during their active service.

The Director of Administration Alhaji Muhammad Sulaiman also prayed to Almighty Allah to spare them with long life and sound health to enable them enjoys their retirement. Gifts of plaques and deep freezers of various sizes were presented to them by the Management. Responding on behalf of the retirees, Mrs. Madu and Mallam Sani Ado Satatima expressed appreciation for the honour done to them. They also asked for forgiveness from the Staff they might have offended at the cause of discharging their duties.
